Since the humble beginnings in 2004, Braxx Racing has come a long way.
2004 marked the start of Braxx Racing when owner/driver Jerry De Weerdt started to race in the Belgian Historic series with a Porsche 928 which he built himself after hours.
After crashing the Porsche in 2006, Braxx Racing switched to racing American cars only with Mustang, Corvette and Vipers racing in various races and championships.
In 2015 Braxx Racing entered the NASCAR WHELEN EUROSERIES with one Ford Mustang and Jerry at the wheel. That year Jerry won the Gentlemen Trophy in the Elite 2 championship.
2016 is what you could call the confirmation year for Brass Racing. Entering a second Mustang in the NWES with none other than Marc Goossens “The Goose” driving the #90 in Elite 1 and Jerry De Weerdt still driving the #78 in both Elite1 and Elite2. This driver lineup is continued in 2017.
The team is set to continue as one of the main European Nascar teams, motivated to develop the cars and invest in the series!
